When is not good to bluff in poker

Contrary to what most believe, the bluff (sometimes called a ‘bluff’ in Spanish) is almost useless in low limit games (under $ 2-4). In rare cases, players do not reach the showdown, so no use to scare people to get out of the boat.

I suggest you wait to use this technique until you play at higher limits. When you are part of a game with higher limits, it is best to use the bluff where ‘represents’ something, and there are only one or two opponents in the pot.

For example, betting on the flop with a high card on the table ‘represents’ a pair, re-raise if a color is possible, ‘represents’ the color.
