Customer Reviews: Poker at its best October 20, 2008Accellora (Astoria, New York USA) I had the PC version of this game and wanted the ability to play it more, on trains, planes and just plain waiting for something. This game delivers. I can build up my career within the game which simulates tournaments with real players. The graphics may seem cheesy to some, but its for hard core playing, not cool graphics. The intelligence of the game is great - I think I'm playing against the real players sometimes when they make moves. I bought PSP just for this game - its that addicting. Great Poker Action September 5, 2008J. Tebbe This game really make you feel like your in an actual WSoP tournament in Las Vegas. I really enjoy playing this game...Thanks Best of all Poker Series for the PSP August 30, 2008J. B. Quattlebaum (Sacramento, CA) As a Poker fanatic, I own a number of poker games for both the PSP and the PC. While Hard Rock Casino for the PSP remains my favorite casino game (if I get tired of Poker, I can chase off to other casino games), this one is the Gold Standard for Poker. I highly recommend that you purchase both the 2007 version "World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions" along with this title. WSP:TOC has great tutorials and training modes -- this new edition is pure poker playing. Between the two you will find yourself having fun and greatly improving your game! I want my life back, this game is a waste! October 8, 2007A. Simek (Arizona) 8 out of 29 found this review helpful This game is enough to make you suicidal. It is not fun. It is boring, repeptitive, and the graphics are comical. Most games for the PSP have great graphics, yet for some reason this one reminds me of what I would expect from a TRS-80 card game. Do not spend money on this game. Avoid it and go and get a buggy Madden game or two. Don't waste time battling for these bracelets. Very sad. | |||||||||||
